Exchange Services

   1.  Silver DDSC is licensed by the New York Commodity Exchange (the Comex Division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) to store silver bullion for Exchange members and their customers.

The contract specifications for silver bullion eligible for Comex delivery are:

Contract Size: 5000 troy ounces, comprising five "1000 troy ounce bars" each weighing between 900 to 1100 gross troy ounces

Brand: bars must bear the name of an Exchange-approved refiner (see approved refiner list on the Nymex website)

Purity (fineness): 0.999 minimum

DDSC fees for Comex silver depository services are:

Storage: $20.00 per contract per month, payable in advance

Out Charge: $100.00 per contract

Depository Receipt Replacement: $15.00**

Chicago Board of Trade -- DDSC is also approved by the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) to store silver for its member companies. 

Contract specifications for silver bullion eligible for CBOT delivery are the same as those listed above for Comex delivery.  There are two CBOT contract sizes: a single “1000 troy ounce bar” called the "mini contract," and five "1000 troy ounce bars" (5,000 ounces) for the standard size contract. 

DDSC fees for CBOT silver depository services are:

  A. Storage: $44.00 per per year for the mini contract, and $18.50 per month for the standard contract, both payable in advance
  B.

Out Charge: $13.00 per mini contract, and $65 per standard contract

2. Platinum -- DDSC is licensed by the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) to store platinum bullion for its members and their customers. The contract specifications for platinum bullion eligible for Nymex delivery are:
  A. Contract Size: 50 troy ounces, comprising either one 50 troy ounce bar, plate or ingot, or five 10 troy ounce platinum bars, plates or ingots, having a total weight of between 47.5 and 52.5 troy ounces (i.e., 50 troy ounces +/- 5%)
  B. Brand: bars, plates or ingots must bear the name of an Exchange-approved refiner (see approved refiner list on the Nymex website)
  C. Purity (fineness): 0.9995 minimum

DDSC fees for Nymex platinum depository services are:

  A. Storage: $7.00 per contract per month, payable in advance
  B. Out Charge: $15.00 per contract
  C. Depository Receipt Replacement: $15.00**

3. Palladium -- DDSC is licensed by the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) to store palladium bullion for its members and their customers.

The contract specifications for palladium bullion eligible for Nymex delivery are:

  A. Contract Size: 100 troy ounces, comprising either one 100 troy ounce plate, bar or ingot, or ten 10 troy ounce platinum bars, plates or ingots, having a total weight of between 95 and 105 troy ounces (i.e., 100 troy ounces, +/- 5%)
  B. Brand: bars, plates or ingots must bear the name of an Exchange-approved refiner (see approved refiner list on the Nymex website)
  C. Purity (fineness): 0.9995 minimum

DDSC fees for Exchange related palladium depository services are:

  A. Storage: $7.00 per contract per year, payable in advance
  B. Out Charge: $15.00 per contract
  C. Depository Receipt Replacement: $15.00**
