At Delaware Depository, our mission is simple, yet unwavering: to provide the most secure and professional precious metals depository experience. Every aspect of our operation, from facility construction and personnel selection to cutting-edge surveillance and redundant systems, reflects our steadfast dedication to protecting your bullion.

All of our buildings are designed to exceed the most stringent industry standards. Reinforced walls, bullet-resistant windows, and multi-point locking bullet-resistant doors serve as the first barriers against unauthorized access.
Perimeter fencing, one-way cages on fire exits, and various other engineered safeguards create layered security that makes infiltration extremely difficult. Within these fortified structures, UL-rated vaults provide another line of defense in heavily reinforced areas, ensuring your assets are protected within an environment purposely built for maximum resilience. A sophisticated network of sensors, including lasers, sound and vibration detectors, motion detectors, LiDAR, and infrared systems, operates continuously. If any anomaly is detected, the system immediately alerts on-site security professionals who are trained to respond swiftly and decisively.
Our continuous camera systems, featuring high-powered, long-range capabilities and adaptive AI, ensure that every movement within and around our facilities is constantly monitored. These specialized cameras can read license plates from extended distances and automatically track potential threats, delivering real-time updates to our security control rooms. Interlocking man traps, which are secure vestibules that can lock down if an unauthorized individual is identified, further regulate entry and prevent unapproved movement.
To reach high-security areas, multiple authorized employees with separate keys must pass through segmented alarm zones, card access checkpoints, and time-scheduled locks. A second vetted team, each member possessing unique segmented codes, must then acquire a single-use code from an external provider, valid only during specific opening and closing windows enforced by time locks and electronic alarms. Additionally, employees and clients remain physically separated, minimizing direct interaction and preserving the highest level of security.
All visitors must be approved in advance. Upon arrival, visitors present a valid ID that is scanned, verified, and recorded in our system. They then check in through our visitor management platform, agree to the conditions of entry, and receive a photo ID badge that must be worn throughout their visit. Visitors are escorted at all times and are never allowed into any area without multiple security personnel observing them.

No technology can replace the importance of dependable personnel. At Delaware Depository, every prospective employee undergoes thorough background checks to ensure only the most reliable individuals manage your assets. Upon exiting secure areas, staff must pass through an advanced loss-prevention metal detector system, which immediately locks down if any irregularity is detected, prompting our security teams to investigate on the spot. This careful process preserves accountability and prevents any unauthorized removal of precious metals.
Unforeseen events such as extreme weather or service disruptions can compromise even top-tier facilities. To address these risks, Delaware Depository implements backup power generators, battery banks, dual internet connections, and priority radio links at every location. These redundancies guarantee the continuous operation of our surveillance, communication, and alarm systems, ensuring uninterrupted protection of your assets.

We understand that modern security demands robust digital protection in addition to physical safeguards. Delaware Depository’s critical data and communication networks are secured by sophisticated firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and professional cybersecurity protocols designed to thwart unauthorized access. By conducting routine vulnerability assessments, regular security updates, and real-time monitoring of our digital infrastructure, we ensure that every layer of our operation—from physical vaults to digital systems—remains resilient against evolving threats.
Our security program is guided by a management team whose members collectively bring decades of experience in law enforcement, emergency services, the military, and other specialized security arenas.
Several members also volunteer in local emergency services, serving on specialized operations teams. Furthermore, many security personnel receive additional specialized training in areas such as advanced threat detection, technical rescue, and other critical response disciplines. This extensive knowledge base spans building construction,
interrogation techniques, first-aid, and emergency response, enabling us to predict and counter emerging challenges.
Our Security Management team’s membership in InfraGard, a cooperative alliance between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and private sector organizations, strengthens our capacity to protect vital infrastructure. We also maintain close relationships with local law enforcement, ensuring that any attempted breach is met with rapid and formidable action. In collaboration with industry specialists and metals companies, we strive to uphold best practices across the precious metals sector. Regular audits, drills, and system refinements keep Delaware Depository at the forefront of bullion security.
By uniting robust building structures, UL-rated vaults in heavily fortified areas, advanced surveillance systems, carefully orchestrated access controls, thorough visitor protocols, and a deeply trained and vetted staff, Delaware Depository has created a security framework that stands strong against a constantly shifting threat landscape. Entrusting your precious metals to us means choosing the highest caliber of safety, reliability, and expertise, reinforcing our status as one of the most secure depositories in the world.
